The ICRE is a global forum for those involved in residency education to share ideas, challenges, innovations, and advance training. The Royal College is seeking partners who would like the unique opportunity to meet and network with key medical education influencers from around the globe. The theme of this year’s conference is Professionalism, Ethics, and Identity in Residency Education: Evolving in a Changing Landscape.

Connect with the world’s foremost leaders and decision makers in medical education. Hosted by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, an audience of approximately 1,700+ delegates is anticipated for our upcoming in-person conference. 

It offers you the opportunity to interact directly with medical education leaders, physicians, residents, medical students and representatives from national and international health organizations.

As a sponsor or exhibitor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Promote your organization to influential leaders in residency education, health policy and specialty practice;
• Make contacts and exchange ideas with key medical education decision makers;
• Gain access to an audience of health care professionals with an interest in residency education and the innovative use of technology in health care; and
• Establish networks of like-minded colleagues by attending conference sessions and events.

Each year, ICRE brings together an international group of medical educators, administrators and trainees, who engage in important conversations around residency teaching, learning, and assessment. ICRE 2023 attendees will include:

• clinical teachers and educators;
• program directors;
• residents and medical students;
• postgraduate administrators;
• government leaders and policy makers;
• educational researchers; and
• medical education leaders.

The ICRE planning team, in its sole discretion, will determine the eligibility of any applicant to participate at the 2024 conference, as well as the suitability for display of each product or service that such participants intend to display during the exhibit. All activities occurring in your booth must be in keeping with the educational nature of the exhibit and must not disrupt the activities of other exhibitors.

ICRE is not available for pharmaceutical participation.

The ICRE planning team, Scientific Planning Committee, and presenters cannot be required to accept advice from a sponsor as a condition of receiving financial support and/or in-kind support. The specific interests of any sponsor must have no direct or indirect influence on any aspect of the development, delivery or evaluation of an accredited CPD activity. This approach safeguards the accreditation status of the ICRE and upholds the impartiality of our educational initiatives.

All Sponsors must comply with the National Standard for Support of Accredited CPD Activities.

In order to take advantage of all the benefits, application and payment must be completed by August 30, 2024

Application forms will be date-stamped and numbered upon receipt. Once sponsor booth assignments have been confirmed, accepted exhibitor applicants whose fees have been paid in full will be contacted to select their booth. Booth selection will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to those exhibitors who have applied and paid in full, and will be confirmed in writing. Be advised that the floor plan may be subject to change.

The signature of an authorized signing authority shall be binding on the Exhibitor and shall express acceptance of all conditions of the Exhibition.

Once the application and payment are received and booth assignment is confirmed, an Exhibitor’s Kit will be sent to the identified contact. This package will include the rules and regulations governing the Exhibit, equipment and service order forms, as well as information regarding material handling and shipping. Exhibitors will be responsible for any costs that may be incurred as a result of their requirements. A company description, sales representative contact information and the names of booth personnel will be requested at this time.

All fees provided to ICRE are in the form of an unrestricted grant and must be paid in full prior to the conference, no later than September 6, 2024.  (Fees are quoted in Canadian dollars.) 

Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to ICRE c/o Sandy McKenzie at ICRE@royalcollege.ca. Cancellations received before April 28, 2024 will be subject to an administrative fee of 10%. Cancellations received between May 1 and June 30, 2024 will receive a refund of 50%. Cancellations after June 30, 2024will not be refunded.
